Ladies Golf League, Lessons & Wednesday Play at Valleybrook
Enjoy group golf lessons and VWGA 9-hole, 18-hole, and Learn & Play opportunities
Join our community of women golfers at Valleybrook. The Valleybrook Women’s Golf Association (V.W.G.A.) is a ladies golf league that runs every Wednesday during the golfing season, with four parallel program options designed to meet women exactly where they are in the game. Whether you’re an experienced player looking for weekly competition, a beginner who wants to learn the fundamentals before stepping onto the first tee, or a long-time member of the V.W.G.A. 18-Hole Group, there’s a Wednesday format built for you.
All season long, V.W.G.A. plays in support of Virtua Health’s Mobile Health & Cancer Screening Unit — a 40-foot mobile clinic that brings 3D mammography, breast and gynecologic exams, pap tests, prostate exams, colorectal screenings, and other health services to nearly 6,000 patients each year across Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties, with and without insurance. Every round we play is a small contribution to a much bigger mission.
Ladies Group Golf Lessons
All 3 Dates are Sold out for the 2026 Season
Get ready for the upcoming golf season by taking an outdoor group golf lesson. These group lessons are designed for women with prior golfing experience — each session covers full swing fundamentals plus a focused short game topic. Lessons are independent of one another, so you can sign up for one, two, or all three.
Learn & Play
New to golf? Start here. The Learn & Play Option is a clinic series geared toward the beginning lady golfer, taught by Valleybrook’s PGA Director of Golf Brad Miller. You’ll learn the fundamentals — grip, alignment, set-up, swing basics, and on-course etiquette — in a small-group, low-pressure environment alongside other women in the V.W.G.A. community.
There are two clinic sessions to choose from: Clinic Session #1 and Clinic Session #2. Please sign up for one, not both — the curriculum is the same across both sessions, just different dates so you can pick what fits your schedule.
9 hole play option
Weekly Wednesday play for up to 60 ladies — front nine or back nine — May through July
Our 9 Hole Play Option is the largest weekly format in the V.W.G.A., with tee times for up to 60 ladies each Wednesday morning. Tee times start off Hole #1 and Hole #10 — sign up for Hole #1 to play the front nine, or sign up for Hole #10 to play the back nine. Your weekly registration includes greens fee, cart, prize allocation, and entry into the optional weekly contests (Closest to the Pin and Long Drive — noted week by week below).
A note on tee-time release: we don’t use an automated system, so tee times are released roughly two weeks ahead of each play date. Please be patient as we work to make tee times available by 9:00 AM on the release date. You’ll book your tee time online, then make weekly payment when checking in at the golf shop. Please include the names and emails of everyone in your group when you sign up. Need to adjust a booked tee time? Email Brad Miller at [email protected].

18 hole play option
A full-season stroke-play league. April through October.
Our 18 Hole Play Option is a full-season ladies stroke-play league running from April 22 through October 28. Your weekly registration includes greens fee, cart, and prize allocation.
Weekly tee times for the 18-Hole group are scheduled by Theresa Stewart, who keeps the league organized week to week. To join the 18-Hole group, get on the weekly tee-time list, or ask about the season schedule, contact Theresa directly at [email protected].
